At this concert in memory of his life and work, in addition to an early piece of electronic music and a late choral work, we will hear compositions of his that are closely linked to the sounds of jazz and improv performed by prominent artists from the Hungarian jazz scene.

A japán Szapporóban született Takuma Onodera ötéves korában kezdte zenei tanulmányait. Tíz éves korára számos díjat nyert, köztük hét első díjat számos japán versenyen: a Steinway Versenyen, az Imora Nemzetközi Zongorameghallgatáson és öt aranyérmet a Junior Mainichi Versenyen.

The legendary American jazz drummer Brian Blade (Chick Corea, Joshua Redman, Bill Frisell) is both a familiar face in Hungary and also a highly sought-after performer in pop circles, having played with many of the greats, including Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan. Blade has performed in Hungary on many occasions, including in a trio alongside Norah Jones.

A kaleidoscope is a traditional toy: a short tube with mirrors inside: when you look inside and turn it, you can see beautiful, colourful patterns that change moment by moment. The program for our concert is, just like a kaleidoscope, a variety of short, beautiful pieces. We start with the music of a ceremony of a long-lived English king, then we will "see" little swans and little chicks through music, we will rejoice together in the spring sunshine, and in the end, we can sing along with the orchestra.

A kezdeményezést az éneklés iránti szenvedély vezérli, amely olyan fontos szerepet tölt be az amatőr kórusok életében, hogy még a pandémia alatt is meg tudott valósulni. Idén Händel Izrael Egyiptomban című nagyszabású oratóriuma kerül terítékre.
