Budapest Ritmo brings new discoveries, unique cooperations and the rising stars of the international and local scenes. Portuguese fado, Balkan brass, cumbia, and gypsy rhythms scatter the lineup. Polish musicians are this year’s special guests: five acts will feature in Ritmo’s colorful programme.
Legendary Romano Drom celebrates its 20th anniversary at Budapest Ritmo. The definitive Olah Gypsy band debuts their new album, and recalls their big moments with the help of former members, invited guests, and unique visuals.
Balkan Brass from the best will make the crowd dance on Saturday: son of legendary Boban Marković, the Marko Markovic Brass Band mix rumba, reggae, jazz, and pop to the good old recipe.
Two towering artists of the Hungarian etno jazz scene, Mihály Dresh and Mihály Borbély team up with legendary KROKE from Poland. A match made in Budapest at the altar of inspired and ingenious musical experimentation.
